What’s included in venue hire?

All venue spaces (if exclusive hire) including, domes, meadow, garden, restaurant and terrace. Horsebox bar, firepit and logs, furniture, glassware, crockery, cutlery, garden games, existing flower displays, existing festoons & fairy lights.

Is the venue licensed for Civil Ceremonies?

Currently The Willow Tree isn’t licensed to hold Civil Ceremonies, however plenty of our couples in the past have done the legal paperwork before the day and then held the blessing & ceremony in front of their guests on their Willow Wedding Day.

Is there parking on-site?

We have a small car park that can be used for parking. Overflow parking is provided at Bourn Village Hall and the Bourn Recreation Ground. Alternatively, you may like to consider arranging a bus to bring and return your guests to a central point or hotel.

What if we can’t visit in person? Is it possible to have a virtual visit?

Absolutely! If you can’t visit in person we can arrange for you to have a facetime call where we can virtually walk you around the space and talk more about your wedding requirements. Can we have a DJ or a band?

Yes you can have an evening DJ or band inside the restaurant & bar. We will clear the area so that you have a dance floor to suit your guest numbers. We recommend keeping bands to a maximum of four or five members due to space & sound levels.

What is your maximum capacity?

Capacity does depend on what kind of thing you are looking for. For a formal sit down meal we can fit 90 in our restaurant. For larger weddings we’d suggest a more informal meal such as our BBQ or sharing smorgasbord where your guests mill around the space and eat wherever takes their fancy. With [...]

What about evening guests?

The venue can accommodate a total of 200 guests in the warmer months using the outside space. For the colder months we would suggest limiting this to 130.
