The ceremony
We offer a magical wedding ceremony experience in our fairytale wedding venue. Our informal vintage vibe provides a unique and romantic setting for couples to exchange their vows.
You can choose from three enchanting locations for your ceremony – beneath our giant Willow tree, in the Secret Meadow, or in our beautiful Teepee. Each setting has its own charm and character, providing you with the perfect backdrop for your special day.

A beautiful dreamy wedding set in a teepee with the sides open taking in views of the meadow and the beautiful willow tree. The teepee was set for the wedding with 25 places in a semi circle and the tables dressed in country jam jars with fresh flowers, bottles with candles with garlands of country flowers. The three course menu arranged to accommodate a range of tastes and was gluten free. Everyone reported that they enjoyed their food, mine was delicious and looked amazing on the plate. The service was attentive and the waiters and waitresses were friendly and helpful. They did not rush the wedding party and each course arrived in good time. The little van bar was nicely stocked and the area surrounding the tipi was set with deck chairs and tables for those who wanted to relax after the meal.
Evening guests were treated to wood fired pizza and Mediterranean buffet, which was delicious and pitched just right. As the light began to fade the teepee fairy lights and candles were lit, which made the space magical as we danced and sang. I kept hearing that this was a fabulous day, and some went as far as to say it was a magical wedding celebration. Nothing was too much trouble for the Willie tree staff who were working hard all day.
The preparations for the day were made easier by Shaina who talked me through the day, menu and helped find a magician for entertainment. I can’t say how much we enjoyed our day and my son and daughter in law have a magical wedding day to look back on. Can’t thank the Willow Tree staff enough.

Absolutely! If you can’t visit in person we can arrange for you to have a facetime call where we can virtually walk you around the space and talk more about your wedding requirements.
Viewings are held Thursday 3pm-7pm and Sundays 3pm-5pm and can be booked here. If you can’t make these times please get in touch at weddings@thewillowtreebourn.com and we’ll try and find a more suitable time.
Yes you can have an evening DJ or band inside the restaurant & bar. We will clear the area so that you have a dance floor to suit your guest numbers. We recommend keeping bands to a maximum of four or five members due to space & sound levels.
The Willow Tree gardens & meadow are surrounded by residential homes so this means that we do not allow a DJ or bands that use an amplifier.
However acoustic or low key music is allowed in the outside spaces during the day until 10pm.
Capacity does depend on what kind of thing you are looking for. For a formal sit down meal we can fit 90 in our restaurant or teepee.
For larger weddings we’d suggest a more informal meal such as our BBQ or sharing smorgasbord where your guests mill around the space and eat wherever takes their fancy. With this option if it rains we will seat your guests partly in either the restaurant or teepee and in our dining domes.
The venue can accommodate a total of 200 guests in the warmer months using the outside space. For the colder months we would suggest limiting this to 130.
We ask that taxis are booked by 11.45pm when the venue closes.
The restaurant & venue closes at 11.30pm.
Teepee & meadow area closes at 10.30pm.
Absolutely. If you want to have food vans in the evening we can accommodate 2-3, depending on the size.
We also offer a venue hire option with food provided exclusively from food vans. Please see our pricing table for more information.
Please note that we do not allow mobile vans that sell drinks, these will be provided by us.
We can cater for all dietary requirements, including vegetarian, vegan, dairy free and gluten free and can also provide a children’s menu. We would require pre order for each guest in line with your seating plan at least two weeks before your wedding date.
We provide sample menus but for exclusive bookings we are happy to work with you and the chefs to create a bespoke menu especially for your wedding.
Once you have chosen your date we would require a bank transfer of £1000 to secure the date.
50% payment will be due 6 months before your wedding date, with the balance due 3 months before your wedding.
For weddings booked less than 6 months in advance we will work with you to create a payment plan.
Yes, prices will increase on an annual basis in line with inflation. For more information feel free to bring it up during your consultation.
